Donald Trump sworn in as the 47th U.S. President

WASHINGTON DC – Donald Trump became the 47th President of the United States today. This is his second time as President. The ceremony was held indoors at the Capitol rotunda because it was very cold outside. Trump was sworn in with Vice President JD Vance. He used two Bibles for the swearing-in: the Lincoln Bible and his own family Bible.

In his speech, Trump talked about fixing past problems and promised a new era of success for the country. He said that the country had faced a “horrible betrayal” and that he would work to make things better. Trump also mentioned that he would focus on creating jobs, improving the economy, and ensuring the safety of all Americans.
