Nepali man arrested, charged with murder in death of missing wife
OHIO-Cuyahoga Falls police confirmed investigators found the body late Tuesday morning of missing woman Chandra Poudel-Rimal.
Her husband James Rimal, 33, of Cuyahoga Falls is charged with murder, strangulation, tampering with evidence, domestic violence and making false alarms in the death of his wife, Chandra Maya Poudel-Rima, according to Stow Municipal Court documents.
The couple’s three children were with family as of Wednesday afternoon, Cuyahoga Falls police said.
Police say officers were searching around 11 a.m. in the 1300 block of Middlebury Road in Kent and Poudel-Rimal’s body was found about 5 miles away from their home. The Cuyahoga River cuts through the wooded Freedom Trail area.
Investigators previously said Poudel-Rimal had been missing since the morning of Feb. 21.
According to police, her husband called to report that he woke up around 9 a.m. and she was gone.
